Princess Louise
your comments review this restaurant
Having been our local for nearly seven years The Princess Louise is a welcome traditional boozer in this part of town.
As it's a Samuel Smith's pub, you'll have to accept their version of whatever you order. but the brightside is that you get change from 2 quid for a pint, very rare in town.
Foods average, canteen upsatirs, but good value made by the landlords misses. Not much more to say on that.
After the sad departure of Tim, the longest lasting landlord for a while, a few new managers passed through, finally settling with the current one, (won't mention his name). The place has got its old charm back, smokey, boozy with the sound of slightly drunk mumbles of the very mixed punters, some real characters. No music, but very welcoming.
Fantastic origional decor, got to have a look at the urinals in the gents (some of the oldest in London)
