I used to really like the Zeta Bar, however I went last Saturday night and was bitterly disappointed. It used to be elegant, friendly, with great cocktails, they now seem to be another bar who are quite happy to sacrifice common sense and hospitality for numbers and 'guest lists'. As so often happens in London the crowd will reach lower and lower levels until it will be little more than a joke suggestion while planning an evening out. I wonder why this happens...? Anyone?

Great, great cocktails - very generous measures from the bar men too! On the expensive side but definitely worth it. Great atmosphere and fabulous music - but the cocktails really are worth the visit!

Been there twice now, once for a pre-dinner drink with my partner and once with a group of 6 friends (3 couples)

I have found the bar staff to be really nice and friendly, have been able to reserve a table both times I've been, and have been really impressed with the cocktails.

The reviews about rude door man and only letting Women in are a load of crap. My fiance and I never experienced any of that, and when we were inside there was plenty of both sex's. Do people have anything better to do.

Anyway as we were saying at the Metropolitan hotal we decided to visit Zeta as it is stumbling distance. Very good buzzing atmosphere, good music and some of the best cocktail i have had. As we had a table we were able to set up a credit card tab. We order some King prawn and chicken satay. Several drinks later i vacated the table and settled the tab which came to £85 including service for food and 7 drinks.

Well worth it. ignore the reveiews about sexiest doorman.

Not much more to add than what has been said above. Get a group together settle in for a fabulous evening in this buzzy atmosphere. Make sure you try some of their more exotic drinks (some of the best in London). The lite bites are quite good as well, which makes for a really great evening and helps prevent a hangover the next morning.

This is the perfect example of a late night London bar - incredibly rude doormen, good service reserved only for girls (note most of the positive reviews are from girls)

This has got to be my absolute favourite bar in London. The staff are super-friendly, service is good and they make my drink just so. Beautiful people abound with a chilled atmosphere, I have never had a bad night. Music is always good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

This is not a proper bar. It is a late night cocktail drinking establishment for girls. At least that is what the rude, unfriendly doormen seem to think and in fact I think agree with them. It is however very annoying to be refused entry 'because there are too many men in there'. What nonsense! I fail to understand why bars need to have a balanced ratio of men and women. What is even more annoying is that men have try to get in to places like the Zeta bar late at night because London is so appallingly pathetic in the area of late night proper bars.
