Star Tavern
your comments review this restaurant
The 'Star' is an excellent Fuller's pub that happily hasn't changed significantly since I started drinking there c. 1980. The beer is usually in tip-top condition, the food is good and very reasonably priced and the interior is attractive. It used I think to cater for the coachmen and suchlike of the large houses on Belgrave Square. Later the Great Train Robbery was supposedly planned in the upstairs bar. Now popular with embassy staff. Thoroughly recommended.
