I have eaten in this place several times over the past few months because it is very close to my workplace. Although the venue is nice and the staff are helpful and friendly, each visit I have been very disappointed with the food. Examples of bad choices include risotto like rice pudding, cold cajun pork with greasy rosti, watery beef curry and overcooked pasta absolutely smothered in cream, all in tiny portions. Paying upwards of £8 for such dishes I expect a lot more from a supposed gastro-bar. I will not be going back until they get a new chef, unless dragged there by my boss.

We went here for a leaving do with our friends from overseas.. the atomsphere was perfect and the staff friendly and attentitive. There is a moderate sized wine menu with some fabulous choices. The food was delicious with a good options for the veggies in the crowd. Thankyou for a lovely evening.
