Well, what can I say - I know it is approaching Spring/Summer but this place was freezing inside!

I was disappointed that they did not offer more in the way of drinks - they have draught and bottled beer but none of my favourite Smirnoff Ice or other "alcopops" which would have done me for the night. Even so the price for a lager and vodka and orange was ludricous!

Even though we had reserved an area, the waitress was quite rude in making sure we were the right people.

It did get very crowded and noisy and the clientele seemed quite rude and abrupt.

To be honest I was glad to leave, not the best place to go on a Friday night in Clerkenwell.

Generally only visited at lunch times, good hardy food with a very reasonable price tag. Staff are very friendly and make you feel part of the furniture, always attentive an honest, Dust makes a refreshing change from other eateries in Clerkenwell. The two leather sofas make a welcome change from sitting on hard stools. Give it a try!

mmmmm - abit divided here about the place. good tunes and great atmosphere but with 1 and 1/2 barman (the other 1/2 was too busy schmmoozing the customers) on a friday night it took forever to get service at the bar. when we did though the cocktails went down a treat. we had reserved a spot at the front but had to plead with the management to open the window before we all died of heat exhaustion. were also told that they would only be charging entry fee at 10pm but on the night it started at 9 and there was absolutley no way around it for love nor money........had a good night though and will probably go back.

Mad f*****s dancing like it was 1990 to old skool house, crazy French man lining up 40 shots of vodka and something red just because it made a pretty picture, suited guy with a wedding ring leaving with a dodgy blonde bird with big toes, my friend Betty's bootylicious bosoms stopping the dance floor. Ending the night with Primal Scream because the whole place wanted to get loaded.

Maybe because it was a Thursday after a bank holiday, maybe there was a full or maybe it was because my friend Rich was leaving town – there was enough madness to go round without feeling the urge to go home and cook spaghetti with apple sauce.

Dust bar Thursday 29.05.03 after hours – we got involved.

The dust bar is absolutely smashing for a kees up, one of those to stumble across after an extended lunch have a few brewskis and maybe a little boogie with the new girl from accounts. Lovely stuff, wont have a bad word said against it, smashing! Fnarr Fnarr.

I haven't been yet - going tonight but I'd like you to give the champers to the guy below (John Hopkins?).

Very entertaining review.

Fair enough, one should live and let live, but nothing annoys me more than loudmouthed arrogant suity tossers who've forgotten to go home and get changed after work, and instead end up in a bar at midnight shouting their arrogant opinions about stockbroking or Alpha Romeos or casual sexism or whatever these witless goons like to talk about when they're not busy doing their meaningless, soul-destroying, wallet-bulgingly vacuous jobs.

Dust is full of people like this on a friday night. And you have to pay to get in. And the decor's not the best either. Really nice mojitos though.

Nice bar to go to for a drink or on friday's after work. Plenty of comfy seating area and great to book a spot if your going with a big group. Gets packed easily and drinks are cheap.
