After reading another review on this establishment I can only suggest that a year has brought around a plethora of change - all in a fantastic way.
The bar staff (and manager) are personable and helpful. The food, though simple, is traditionaly and well executed. The prices are reasonable and the quality of ale is what you would expect of a traditional London boozer.
If you have been before and didn't like it - I would suggest you give it another go - you may well be suprised!!!

I can't believe how bad this place is - I had a table booked for nine people and we were there for nearly two hours and still our food had not arrived. Several items were not available and eventually when I asked to see the manager I waited for about fifteen minutes and eventually saw the bar manager. I don't think there is a manager at the moment and at the present rate this place should be closed very soon.
