If your after a late night bar with good quality music....look no further. This gem of a bar is not just cool, but has everything you need for a great night out. Spread across 2 floors the downstairs really is the cosiest little place this side of London. What with minimal lighting, candles and a sound system that's as warm as the Mediterranean you must really give this place a try. Being a fan of cocktails I was really in my element, not cheap but very good! Apparently you can book tables for the night at no cost, which I will remember for next time. All in all I was well impressed, I went on a Friday night but will pop back any day of the week!!

Went here last Friday on the back of a few things I've read about the place and can only say that I was very disappointed. Drink prices were extortionate - we paid close to £20 for 3 bog-standard drinks and a water! Music was mediocre at best. However, in defence, the venue was nice.
I would recommend alternatives like Herbal (Kingsland Rd) to anybody looking for a good night out in this region.

Always lively and always fun, even if you do get reprimanded for dancing on furniture. The cocktails are most reasonable for the quality and the DJ does have a salsa fetish but its all good. The food is ok.
The downstairs is available for parties too, where I once saw a woman, fawned on by 5 blokes, puke all over herself. The guys all realised at the same time that there investment had been wasted and you could see it on their faces. Not sure I agree with the "surname" policy on cards behind the bar, open to fraud.
Best place this side of the city

The music's loud, drinks are strong, the bartenders think they're in 'Cocktail', and every now and then the DJ breaks into a 30 minute stint of Salsa tunes... what more could you ask for to celebrate the end of the working week. The atmosphere has been friendly every time I've visited, and though difficult to find the first time round, it's well worth the effort.

Great cocktails - ask for a "Hong Kong Fuey". Now withdrawn from the menu along with the rest of the dangerous drinks section. They are guaranteed to light the blue touch paper of any evening.

very busy and lots of fun. glad to find a bar that's willing to stay open all night.acid test- there's even a decent sound from the mixing decks.
not for a quiet evening; this place is a great blend of bar and party. recommended for a lively beginning/ middle or even if you're looking to stay all night. good ratio of girls:boys too.
