Really Rude bar staff - and could do with a clean !Don't GO other better pubs in the area with better drinks and food.

Great beer. Great atmosphere. Came reccommended to me. Its a shame however when everyone in your group spends £50 each on beer and dinner (very easy with the more expensive Belgian beers), that the staff treat you like animals. I had one staff member get annoyed at me, because it took them two minutes to find the £8 bottle of beer I ordered. Oh and at 11pm expect to be screamed at by the staff to get out (no joke). No one was rowdy, they were just rude as buggery. Real shame its a great place, but I would never ever go back due to the surly staff. Oh and they claim to serve the right beer in the right glass...wrongo...expect to get your £5 half-pint in a plain glass (well I did on two occassions).

One of the best pubs in East London, actually the whole of London, the Dove offers a huge range of Belgian beers, and excellent food, brilliant bangers and belgian inspired food, staff are generally young and the manager Paul very friendly, the land lady Alice is a character as well. It has great character with open fire in winter and outdoor seating in summer, well worth a visit, as is its little sister the Dovetail in Clerkenwell.
