The most convivial, down to earth honest pub in the area.
I feel reluctant to broadcast it's undoubted excelence for fear of 'breaking the spell'; well run with a nice mix of customers, great staff, cared for ale and a decent juke box - especially good sport coverage. Great bar with comfy lounge and a huge beer garden to boot - you can't go wrong.
