No word of a lie, but i was there the same night as Vicky with 2 of my mates from Nottingham (one of which was in the Dream Team). Drinks were free - so were all good (especially the white wine spritzers!!). Place was good, too: heaving, full of broadshouldered people. Not as good as the Next Place we went to. The pompey girls seemed to enjoy themselves though.

I was invited to Sky One's Dreamteam end of season party last year. After travelling up from Portsmouth and not really knowing my way around London it was fairly easy to locate. The staff were friendly & helpful and the club atmosphere was buzzing. I would defiantely recommend a visit, although I cannot comment much on the drinks as I was driving and only had the odd sip of my friends cocktails. Would like to visit the club again on a normal weekend night as it was extremely busy and didn't get the chance to have a good look round and take it all in.

A buzzy atmosphere and something a little bit special for a birthday celebration, without breaking the bank, was a big ask on a wintery Tuesday evening...but Embassy just about met the bill. Although we were the first to arrive in the restaurant, our self-consciousness evaporated as soon as we saw the champagne cocktails on the menu, let alone tasted our first! We ate from the set menu which just about had something for everyone and each one of the dishes exceeded most set menu expectations. Food: good value. Drinks: typically expensive. Service charge: justified. I'll be back to sample the club when it isn't a school night! Oh - and did I mention that 2 out of the 20 people in the restaurant were celebrities?
