Never again! never again!
We booked a table for my girlfriend's bday last saturday and this what happened:
1- We had a table for 10 people but because we were 11 they told us it was not possible to accomodate the additionale person. FINE! give us another table then..
2- ordered 2 bottles of champagne.. I filled 12 gasses and left some champagne in each bottles. Turned around after 3 mins and the bottles disappeared.. they toke away the rest of the champagne because I had already filled 12 glasses and that was the maximum I could do! no matter if there is some left..
And not to mention the attitude of the waitress and that sort of manager they have.
I am writing right now a letter to the manager and one to TIME OUT.. I want a refund, apologies and whatever else they can possibly give me.
UNACCEPTABLE!

I liked Eclipse. I thought there was a bit too much smoke, but people were chatty once you got past the cool exteriors.

i dont think i would describe it as tacky...
the look certainly isn't new, but it's still a good looking place with good looking people in it...
it is, however, very small...
the one thing it has going for it is that it's open late - and for that it's the best place around Chelsea as there are so few late bars...

one of the takiest places I've ever seen in my entire life, and one of the unfriendliest as well. Well past its days, the drinks are substandard and the athmosphere... well, you can guess...
I hope it goes out of business soon, it's really spoiling lovely walton street
