Eclipse Chelsea

I am a regular customer and just cannot stop being one. The bar is great, even the wooden floors have this lovely gloss shine.

Loos always clean and the copper door works like a mirror. The waitresses are gorgeous, friendly and very helpful. The barguys not say barmen, they do know what they are mixing up and always make the coolest drinks in town. Whoever owns this place, I am sure he is proud of his formula. Carry on guys with all your good work.

i have been working for this company for quiete a while and then i have been there as a custmer as well ,and all i can say from both of the side you do get fun! the atmosphere is lovely and the drinks are always perfect even when the bar is full(almost of the times!!!).If you are loocking for a funky and cool place to have great time ....well this is the right place.Ps all the staff members are good loocking and professional.

Mauro, I am sorry of what happened to you but I cannot believe that! I have been going to Eclipse for the last three years as a regular, at least three times per week, and I definetely consider it one of the best bars I have ever seen in London (and believe me, I have been through a lot of them...).

The people are always relaxed and chilled, the music is beautiful all the time, the drinks are simply perfect and the waitresses always nice and ready to take your order, as well as the rest of the staff. It is more possible that you have not been very clear or understandable with the staff in asking your requests...

absolutely fabulous, not only were the staff relaxed, friendly and attentive, but the drinks also were sublime, full credit to those involved both front and back of house, i will recommend it to all clients and friends in the future!

I'm afraid Mauro, I have to agree with everyone else. Eclipse continues to be a favourite of mine, and, I'm sure of many other tasteful Londoners.

I'm sure the local Wetherspoons will be more suited to your personal needs.

I also have to disagree with mauro as i found the service incredible considering the amount of people that arrived once last orders had been shouted at other places - it was packed yet still the attentive waitresses managed to get around serving drinks, changing ashtrays and making sure no one needed anything.

I arrived at about 10 pm and managed to find a table for four and stayed til 1am - it was that much fun!

I would definitely suggest that you arrive before 10:30 pm to guarantee yourself a table (even then it can be a bit of a jam) because once the goodlooking business men and women start piling in, you'll be glad to have your own corner to invite them to..!

I was amazed when I went to Eclipse not too long ago. I was expecting to be surrounded by posh, champagne drinking Chelsea girls and old loud men. Instead I found the people extremely chilled out, young and up for having a good time. The staff were really friendly and the bongo player was in my mind incredible. I will certainly be visiting Eclipse again. Very impressed.

wow

can't believe mauro had such a bad time, but were there 10 11 or 12 people, i'm confused?

must have been drinking magnums to fill up that many glasses, but i'm pretty sure they don't sell magnums?

eclipse is one of the few bars i visit everytime i'm in london, and one of the few where the staff remember my name.

not only that but its rare to see a bar busy and with such a nice vibe 7 nights a week, and by the sound of it it's rare to see people like mauro there, one of its best features is its chilled friendly clientele and lack of creepy guys trying to pick me up!

mario you are sad! why bother going out with an attitude like that! just for the record regarding your 'short change' of fizz 12 glasses = 2 btls of champoo. the waitress took your empty bottles away coz thats her job - yep they were empty.

eclipse is cool keep out the mario's of this world PLEASE!

I totally disagree with Mauro`s comments.

This is a great bar, the service is amazing and the cocktails sublime.

It is my regular bar and has been so for a long time.As an American who is very aware of service quality I am surprised that he feels that he was badly treated and I will mention this next time I see Steve, the manager, to tell him of your complaint. This is not my experience not the experience of many thousands of pure devotees to this place. I will also tell Steve that you will never ever go back in but you are willing to try and get whatever you can get from Eclipse.
