Lovely historical pub, beautiful views over the Thames, but was't overly impressed with the Aussie 'dude' behind the bar who was most unfriendly, to the point of obnoxious planning his parties loudly with an Aussie girl eating chips at the bar, paying no attention to the paying public, didn't suit a classical English pub! Go back to Earl's Court mate!

A thoroughly charming little boozer with a beer garden on the river. Have drunk in here on a few lazy sunday afternoons which have slowly transformed into pub crawls. They only serve "roasts" on a Sunday so don't let the menus fool you (and the vegetarian roast is pasta). The irish bar manager is about as quirky as they come; the words "french" or "canadian" will set him off for about 40 mins on a whirlwind history of everything including his time in Quebec.
He's also developed a sneaky habit of enlarging heads on the Guinness. I'd complain if only I could get a word in....
Expect to see coachloads of tourists being ushered into and out of the upstairs restaurant, safely out of harms way.
