Of the hundreds (I think) pubs I have been to in London, this is my favourite. Has the best atmosphere of any of the excellent Hampstead pubs and the bar food is simple and very tasty. Great beer too.

Wonderful pub, especially wintertime with the fireplace. With more exciting beers it would have been the perfect pub.

It's actually called the White Bear.
Generally excellent service, reasonable food, well kept beers, a great quiz night and a great place to drink in the evenings.
Very quiet at lunchtimes due to it being set back from the main thoroughfairs of Hampstead.
There's also parking spaces across the road (ticket machines) and you're just a 2 minute walk from the high street.
