Excellent no boum-boum non-sense music juke box (I think it's the best in town with a whole pallet of any kind of alternative/indie music to a range of long forgotten classics from the 50s/60s/70s), relaxed atmosphere with comfortable old-style leather sofas and down-to-earth people, added by two black cats who like to snuggle up next to you if you are there in the afternoon and friendly staff. All in all a place that fulfills every expectation that you have from a traditional pub that plays decent music!

I discovered this secret treasure by accident one evening last Christmas, owned by the guys who gave London 'Filthy Mac Nastys' the legendary rock n' roll bar.So far I have spotted most of Londons rock n' roll fraternity drinking here[no names but all worth 2 nights in Brixton each], they have the best juke box in the world, the place is always full, fantastic vibe, but why did they choose Highgate, down the end of my road?
