Found this excellent pub when visiting friends in the area. Lovely decor, very bright with lots of natural light in restaurant area. Cosy couches, friendly staff and Atmosphere with a capital 'A'. Excellent grub, well priced and good selection, and the beer's good too!! Lovely Kiwi manager added to the charm. Didn't see the famous cat until my last visit. Worth the trip if you're near by, easily the best pub in the area.

I think Mike, a supposed local, is in reality from a rival pub trying to denigrate a popular rival. The Landseer serves excellent food at a reasonable cost, menu gives a wide variety of choices, great value compared to similar pubs. As to the staff, they are very friendly and helpful, never rude, can't do enough to make your visit pleasant, excellent service and atmosphere. The Landseer is far superior to any other pub in the area, (who do all tend to have rude staff). Well worth a visit, or several, to enjoy a marvellous night out. I am a local but if I wasn't I would go out of my way to go there. Landseer gets my vote in all categories, including best cat award.

I would have given it 10 in all categories of ratings but there is an annoying drink spiking add over the top of several of the 10s so the highest you can give is 9s which distorts ratings.

This place has gone so far downhill that its brakes have failed and it's heading for fast moving traffic.

Now coming in at a staggering 9.75, their Sunday Roast now consists of two roast potatoes, no yorkshire puddings any more, and a couple of slices of tasteless meat in watery gravy. A pathetic reflection of the pub it once was, all the above reviews can now be considered out of date. It was an absolute gem of pub; expensive food but worth it. It now does the worst pub food you can imagine, for utterly outrageous prices. Don't expect the staff to ask you how your food was. If you decide to tell them, don't expect them to care.

this pub is a wonderfull suprise, not what you expect in holloway, great when the sun is out, everyone outside in the al fresco manner, inside spacious with lovely big windows letting in all the light, the staff are VERY friendly & cosmopolition, a chilled out enviroment, good sounds, seems miguel migs or soultice is always playing, food great too, and the pub cat is cool too, NICE ONE!
