Babel

Babel is a genuinely good bar, the staff are knowledgable and friendly even on the most crowded friday night, their cocktails are gorgeous and so are the people queuing outside at the weekends. It all depends who you go out with - if you want to have a lovely time with good friends in South London, this is the place to go.

If this is supposed to be a DJ bar - then it's not on a sat night. The music was hardly audiable over a very loud crowd. Waiting outside on a sat night to join a rather uncool, overcrowded mob once we were let in turned out to be a let down. The champagne bar across the road is a vast improvement on this place.

Good bar but the steps to the toilets are like a cliff face and I've now managed two head-first rolls down them. Not going there again.

Good bar, but now overshadowed by Iniquity which is on the other side of Northcote Road, which has better quality clientele for 'window shopping'...

Really love this place. Very chilled out and pleasant staff.

Fabulous bloody Mary's served with a full English in the mornings. Just basically a nice, relaxing place. Highly recommend it!
