The Common Rooms
your comments review this restaurant
The Common Rooms is an absolutely splendid bar and something we were crying out for on the Battersea / Wandsworth border.
The service is friendly and professional, the drinks are scrumtious (try the Honey Berry Sour - my personal favourite), the interior decor is stylish and clean.
Dance the night away on a Saturday night and then return for the best fry up south of the river on a Sunday morning or just pop in for an after work drink or a bite to eat on a week night.
I've been to sevearl other bars in Clapham and Battersea and central London but the Common Rooms still come out on top. Thumbs Up.

An average night, the drinks and bar were good, but the food was very average. Would not go back to eat when other places in the area are better, but would go to drink.

The best bar on St Johns Hill and much cooler than the pack'em-in Boom bar just down the drag. Very comfortable leather chairs, smart lighting, all giving it the feel of a New York cocktail bar in.....er.... Battersea. Best of all (other than the fact it's open until 1am at weekends) is the fact that on school-nights there are games available (Jenga, Connect 4!) to pass the time with. Most bars this trendy would be far too self-consciously cool to have them available, but the Common Rooms isn't, and benefits from it.
