Initially, I went to The Drawing Room expecting a top class restaurant which also served as a wine bar. However, this preconception was dispelled within minutes of viewing the wine list! The options available are extensive, and very impressive. It was not just the wines with which the restaurant impressed, the cocktails, were superb.

Of course, my ideas of a superb restaurant were also proved correct, the food is exquisite. The food speaks for itself, what impressed me most was the friendly service, as well as the criminally comfortable sofa room!

Overall, a superb dining experience, ideal even for cocktails at the end of the week.

Having heard about this newly furbished Drawing Room for a long time, we finally visited the restaurant on Thursday 14th April 2005. I cannot find words to describe the restaurant, as this is such a unique venue. The ambiance is stunning! We had one of the most enjoyable meals we ever had, while enjoyed a fantastic live piano. You should try their Scallops (starter, Roasted chicken with stuffed goat cheese and Cheese cake- that's what I had. Everything was perfectly cooked and generously served. All my friends felt the same. We all were 100% satisfied with quality, quantity and price. The service was equally very good. The staffs were welcoming, friendly and informative. We ended up staying in the Sofa Bar until very late, where they do serve some of the best cocktail in London. “The Drawing Room” is not one of my favourite restaurants, this is my first choice!

Well Done Drawing Room and Staff!

My girlfriend and I would definitely be coming back to the drawing room after our first visit last week. The service was very friendly and the food was a sheer delight. The Sofa Bar is a definite comfort zone. The restaurant is perfect for romantic meals.

Afternoon tea is offered as a speciality - but I would not recommend it. Not that I am an afternoon tea snob, but, the sandwiches were not the usual quarters and were more like a workman's butty, the 3 scones came ready sliced with a scrape of jam on three halves and a dollop of squirty cream on the others. My friend (who doesn't eat jam or cream) asked for "plain" scones - but was told that there were no more scones to give. The venue itself is lovely, but the waiter did not seem bothered about us and the music did not suit the bar at all. Very disappointing.

Worth going to to see how odd this place is. Pink walls and spiky clocks all over the walls. Really amateur accidental feel - except for the massive brightly lit advertising banner near the toilets. Random.

My wife and I visited the Drawing Room last year for Sunday breakfast with her parents. Service was extremely slow and disinterested, tea was lukewarm and the 'toast' was basically warmed bread. Sending it back didn't seem to make a difference. Would not go again.
