I have spent a Sunday Night at their Comedy event, and had a brilliant time!
The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the drinks very reasonable!
We cannot wait to get back there again!!

The Alex was a magic Irish pub through the 60s,70s. Had a few beers there last year (2003) on a vist to London. Wooden floors, lots of knick nacks,a neckbreaking stair to the loo, beer was nice, pleasant bar staff, but no real atmosphere. If it was a wet night and the bus was late and you felt like an ale, the Alex would be a reasonable stop.
