I recently had my birthday here and it was fab! When i got there I was shown to my area where a glass of complimentary champagne and even a birthday card!! What a nice touch. We did not have to move all night as good table service is offered (another surprising fact!) The manager came over a few times to ensure that we were still having a good time. Brilliant. A great evening was had by all and I will certainly be recommending it to my friends

One of the best bars in london, cocktails are superb, staff are fab, if a little eccentric, but what do you expect when confronted with genius? In answer to some of the previous reviewers, my partner has drunk v&ts in here countless times and they have been generously poured and graciously served, what did you do, ask for an umbrella in it? If you want basic sh***y drinks go to a 'wetherspoons', if you what something divine come to Match.

I think the negative reviews of this bar are unfounded. I have been there on several occasions and found the drinks to be amazing, the food fantastic and the staff really helpful. It is a relaxing, comforting and comfortable place to go for several drinks with friends.

The bar can be compared to Marmite - you either love or hate it. I and my friends hated the place, music, drinks but most of all the awful bar staff.

I couldn't agree more with Emily. I don't expect to go to a bar where you are refused a gin and tonic for no good reason other than the barman doesn't feel like making you one. I have only one thing to say to Match (and I actually quote the barman's reaction to my understandable lack of tip) - "Thanks for nothing!".

From the moment smartly dressed bouncer gives you the quick nod at the door, to the time you reach the exquisitely stocked bar, you realize that this is a place of style. The cocktails are impressive, and the made for those whom are not easily impressed. Those of simpler tastes may find the prices to leave a bad taste in their mouth, but those who are more refined will find it quite palatable and the atmosphere refreshing.

By the hour of midnight, when the children have spent their pennies and the bartenders have ‘weeded out’ the others, you are left with a rich feast of décor, music and class.

Living in London, you come to expect overpriced drinks - its a way of life. What shouldn't be part of the package is exceptionally rude, patronising staff to serve them. The drinks are delicious it has to be said, but however sweet the cocktail of your choice, you are left with a sour taste in your mouth after being spoken to like you are not worthy of their attention.

oh...and don't even think about ordering a mixer - they are too good to serve such a common concoction.

Mysterious, dark, handsome bar WLTM young people who love champagne cocktails and a chilled out atmosphere for after work drinks.

I've been to this bar twice, despite reading some negative reviews. What can I say, I should have listened.

Yes the cocktails are good but the staff are unbelievably rude and pretentious and if they are not preening themselves behind the bar, far to busy to serve you, they are removing your glasses before you have finished!

This is an unbelievably pretentious place and the cocktails are just not that good - absolutely dreadful!
