Best Pub in Claphm full-stop. I'm a local and have been drinking in the Falcon for years. Ok when the Sun is out it can get extremly busy and have a long wait at the bar but any other time the service is fine and they always seem to have cool friendly staff. The people that complain about the long waits should go any other time than when the weather's amazing. The foods good- great value. How many other pubs around here could you get a good meal for six quid. BBQ's in the summer are also great. The drinks are standard run of the mill stuff but they are no more expensive than any other place in the area. I think the atmosphere is the best thing about the Falcon (Along with the garden). Always playing wicked music which ever time of the week and great mix of local dudes and babes.

I went to The Falcon with a friend of mine on a really hot evening....we sat out the back which was nice. Went to the bar to order Pimms with all the trimmings ( as advertised on the blackboard) ..and surprise surprise the Pimms came without all the trimmings ( no mint, no fruit...nothing) and it was still £4 each. The barman was completely useless as were the other bar staff..they all seemed more interested in reading their newspapers or chatting..one of them was particularly annoying and looked like he was probably eyeing up every sinlge pair of breasts in the room....the food was ok...not bad...we then ordered wine which was disgusting and gave my friend a stomach ache so we had to leave....all in all could a bit disappointed especially as there is great outdoor seating....Maybe next time it might be better just to order a pint..but then that will probably come to a fiver ..and I would refuse to go to the bar to be served by monkey bar staff. Someone would have to go on my behalf.

Good atmosphere and fun, mixed clientele as you would expect around Clapham High Street. But the service at the bar is slow and often sullen and the bar very smoky, which is a shame.
