Jazz After Dark

I went to this bar last night after reading a few of the comments here. I was not disappointed. What a great night. Very friendly atmosphere, nice snacks, quirky (in a nice way!) place. But the best bit was the music.

There was a bluesey kind of band called BluesMix who play here every Thursday who were truly fantastic. Never heard of them before but I will definitely be back again. The only downside was - no Amy Winehouse appearance. I was very excited after reading the comments about her. Though I heard she is indeed often here putting in a surprise appearance on a Thursday or Saturday. So maybe next time...

My wife and I ate here on Saturday night 4/6

the service was good.the food was very good the cocktails is amazing .to sit near Amy Winehouse and to see her singing .it was one of the most beautiful night I ever have for a long time.It is the kind of place were I ve seen acouple of celebes as well.

I went to this place last night (sat 4th) and i am so glad i did. The place is cozy with an amazing atmosphere, the food was out of this world and the cocktails were to die for. They have a live band every night and last night was a 5 piece that really blew me away. Then i saw something that i still cant believe i saw. The guy on the mike introduced Amy Winehouse, sure enough she got up and done a number that left us star struck! Aparantly from speaking to the staff she is there every week without fail and she is not the only big name to frequent the place. If the place is good enough for the rich and famous it's definitely good enough for me!!!!

Highly recomend it!

Great Thursday nights - blues night. They have a regular band / residency who are superb. What I like most about this is the laid back atmosphere and the good chance of getting a seat! Its a quirky retro type of place, really different from the usual packed out designer bars. Its open til about 1am so its handy to drop in here for late drinks. If you go I'd recommend the Thursday night for the great blues band....I went on a Monday and the music was not so good.

I agree with the Thursday night comment. Its a great night....I've been there 4 times now. I love live music, especially blues and funk, so that Thursday night blues band is a treat. Nice friendly atmosphere too. And I've seen a couple of celebs there as well!!

This is a great little bar. Though the live music varies greatly from night to night. I've been on a Thursday night when they have a weekly residency by a blues band called BluesMix. Its usually a fantastic night....great music and best of all a really friendly atmosphere.

Nice ambience to the place, very friendly staff and punters alike. Good beer and wine list. Plenty of female professionals after work on a Friday, which is a good sign for both a safe and lively environment. Worth a visit if you are the Charlotte Church type!
