One of the worst nights out in a long time. Overcrowded with pervy city boys and pretentious women, rude staff (particularly on the door), and although we had reserved a seating area weeks before, we had to be there at 6pm to keep it! Not everyone finishes work at 3 on Fridays, do they? Overall, an overrated meat market. One good thing was the air conditioning.

A friend recommended I have my b'day drinks @ Abacus. Overall, we had a very good time. Drinks and food are OK. The music is rather mainstream. The only thing that I didn't like was the service at the bar downstairs: the barman was rather rude and arrogant.

Great happy hour and fantastic champagne cocktails. Just make sure you get there early on a friday and no trainers.
