Churchill Arms
your comments review this restaurant
I have been to Churchill Arms several times since I first moved to the uk and it has become one of my all time favourite pubs. In my opinion the Churchill Arms is everything a good pub should aspire to be, firendly, cosy, warm and always full of people having a good time, the cosy pub and the airy thai restaurant in the back make a nice contrast and the food is lovely and amazingly cheap considering how good it is.
Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat but last time I was there we shared a table with another couple and we all had a drink together. This place is truly atmospheric and offers everything from a quick drink to a stunning and affordable meal.

I discovered this pub about 3 years ago after being drawn in from the cold by the amazing smells of the thai kitchen and the sound of laughter. Since then it has definitely become my favourite pub in london. Gerry the landlord is fantastic, always funny and always welcoming. The thai food is so good and unbelieveably cheap. I can't remember how many times i've gone for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime with a friend and then finally tottered out at closing. just don't all go there at once as i quite like it as part of my secret london!
